Honestly it just sucks. Not because "Jesus" but because you do nothing with it.
It's about self denial but the player doesn't have to deny anything! You can't even lose by dying so what did we do to deserve Jesus here? Did the turple character deny not jumping and dying in the void? You didn't even put a png of the sky in the skybox.
Personally you could make the player deny A LOT of things. Make the lever longer first and then put stuff based on the 7 deadly sins!
Like you can jump on enemies to kill them (wrath) but you gotta deny it.
There are extra health pick ups (gluttony) but you gotta deny them.
Theres a way easier way to Jesus (sloth) but you gotta deny it.
There are coins all over the level (greed) but you shoudn't collect them.
Envy could be about stealing power ups (like a double jump or a dash) but not getting them to get to Jesus.
Idk about lust maybe 6 sins actually.
And if you sin, the way to Jesus dissapears and you have to jump in the void, giving you the bad ending".
You could have done ANYTHING to deny the player and actually give this game a challenge or a meaning but you didn't. That turtle probably didn't even live in the rightousness of christ.
Sorry about that, and I appreciate your honest feedback, that's how we get better. This one was kind of last minute. I had something bigger planned, but I couldn't work out the mechanics on time to get it finished by the end of the week. All projects should be bigger and better going forward.
Honestly I am also sorry for being really harsh in my review. I'm not even sure why I got so mad over your game. Hopefully you have a great day
Thank you! You as well!
